Others Stakeholders

Besides the formal membership of CUP, many institutions, University Departments, researchers and other professional who are directly concerned with the cause and issues of the urban poor are closely associated with CUP and have been contributing proportionately to its endeavors. In addition, CUP has five divisional chapters in other regions of the country.

CUP as an important stakeholder

CUP has already been recognized by various national and global stakeholders as focal point of NGOs working for the improvement of the living standard of slum dwellers. Some notable instances of collaboration are as follows:
CUP participated in the Participatory Technical Assistance (PPTA) for the Urban Poverty Reduction Project (UPRP) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
CUP participated in the Country Assistant Strategy Formulation Process (CAS) of the World Bank.
